What we collect, at a glance

Short version: Gelominos has no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting, and we never sell your data. You do not need an account to play, and the game works offline. Your progress stays on your device. Two optional features involve Google, not us: Google Play Games leaderboards and purchases through Google Play. Read our Terms too.

1. Who we are

Gelominos (app ID app.gelominos) is a single-player puzzle game published by Gelominos (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@gelominos.com. This policy explains what information the game and this website handle, why, and what choices you have.

We do not run an online service for the game: there is no Gelominos server and no Gelominos account.

2. What we collect, why and how we use it

2.1 Saved on your device (always)

To let you continue where you left off, the game saves the following in the app’s private storage on your device:

  • Game progress: unlocked levels, star ratings, best scores, the board in progress, your daily-challenge best score and day streak, and how many stars you have earned today (for the daily star limit).
  • Your choices: skin, block theme, color theme, and settings such as colorblind-safe palette, reduce motion, calm celebrations, haptics, volume and sound on/off. Also which one-time tips you have already seen.
  • Which purchased products you own, so they stay unlocked offline.
  • If you use Google Play Games leaderboards: the last scores that were sent, so the game does not send them twice. These are numbers only, with no name or ID.

We use this data only to run the game on your device. Except for the optional features below, it is not sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the game deletes it.

2.2 Purchases through Google Play (optional)

Gelominos sells optional, one-time cosmetic items through Google Play Billing. There are seven products: five skin bundles, an “all skins” pack and a block-theme pack (the Collector theme pack). Everything in the game can also be unlocked for free by earning stars. When you buy, Google Play shows its own purchase screen and handles payment, taxes and receipts under Google’s terms and privacy policy. We never receive your card or payment details, your name or your email address, and we do not run a payment server.

To unlock what you bought, the game asks Google Play which products you own when you open it or when you choose “Restore purchases”, so purchases come back on a new device. The game keeps the order identifier and, until the purchase has been confirmed to Google, the purchase token on your device. This information is used only to unlock what you bought. Google Play may treat purchase records as your purchase history in its own systems. The game contains no advertising.

2.3 Google Play Games leaderboards (optional)

Gelominos can use Google Play Games to show leaderboards. You can play the whole game, offline, without it.

  • Sign-in. The Google Play Games SDK in the game may sign you in automatically when you open the game if you already use Play Games on your device. You can also sign in from Settings → Google Play Games. If you do not have a Play Games profile, the game does not ask you to create one. Gelominos has no sign-out switch of its own; you can manage or remove your Play Games profile, or its visibility, in the Play Games app or your Google Account.
  • What the game sends. When you are signed in, the game sends Google exactly three numbers: your Endless best score, your best score in today’s Daily Challenge, and your total stars.
  • What Google handles. Google combines them with your Play Games profile (gamertag or name, avatar and player ID, as your Play Games profile settings allow) so they can show on leaderboards, and the Google SDK also collects analytics and diagnostics data to run and improve its service. Google does this under the Google Privacy Policy and the Play Games terms.
  • What we see. The game does not read, store or receive your name, avatar or player ID, and we receive no leaderboard data.
  • Your choices. Do not sign in, or remove or limit your Play Games profile. Manage or delete Play Games data in the Play Games app or at your Google Account. Requests to us: hello@gelominos.com.

2.4 What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise or approximate location, photos, camera or microphone data, advertising ID, device identifiers, installed apps or payment details. The game contains no ads, no analytics, no crash-reporting service and no social-media or login SDKs. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

3. How long we keep data

DataHow long
Game data on your deviceUntil you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the game.
Google Play and Google Play Games dataKept by Google under its own policies.
Website server logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser)Kept by our host, Netlify, under its own policy and for the period it sets. We do not control or export these logs.
Emails you send usUp to 12 months after the matter is closed, then deleted.

We may shorten these periods at any time. We would update this policy before making any of them longer.

4. Who else is involved

  • Google Play sells and delivers the app and handles purchases (Google Play Billing).
  • Google Play Games Services receives your leaderboard scores if you sign in (section 2.3).
  • Netlify, Inc. hosts this website (section 12). It does not host or receive anything from the game.

Each of these is bound by its own terms and privacy policy. We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not give it to anyone else, except where the law requires it.

5. Internet access

The game is built as a local web game inside an Android WebView wrapper (Capacitor), and the game files are bundled in the app, so it runs fully offline. The Android INTERNET permission is used only for the features described above: Google Play (purchases) and Google Play Games (leaderboards). The “Privacy Policy” link in the menu opens this page in your own web browser; the game itself sends nothing when you tap it.

6. Sound and vibration

The game plays sounds that it generates on your device, plus short recorded clips released under public-domain (CC0) terms (credits are on the Licenses page). It may use the device’s vibration motor for feedback. Neither requires any personal data. Sound and haptics can be switched off in Settings, and the game respects the system’s reduce-motion setting.

7. Children

Gelominos is a general-audience puzzle game with no ads, chat or user-generated content. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Google Play Games and Google Play purchases require a Google account, which Google restricts by age under its own rules. If you believe a child has used the online features and want records removed, please contact us (section 14).

8. Your choices and deleting data

  • On-device data: clear the app’s storage in your device settings, or uninstall the game.
  • Google Play Games: do not sign in, or manage and delete the data in the Play Games app or your Google Account.
  • Purchases: manage them in Google Play (order history). Refund requests are handled through Google Play; see the Terms.
  • Anything we hold (website logs and emails you sent us): write to hello@gelominos.com and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Your rights in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR)

  • Controller. For website logs and emails you send us, the controller is Gelominos, hello@gelominos.com. For Google Play, Google Play Games and Google Play Billing, Google is the controller under its own privacy policy.
  • What we process and why (legal basis). Server logs and emails: to run and secure the website and to answer you, based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, for contract-related requests, performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). The game itself sends us no personal data.
  • Recipients. Our website host Netlify (processor). Google receives game data in its own role.
  • Transfers. Netlify and Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own transfer safeguards.
  • Your rights. Access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Contact hello@gelominos.com.
  • No automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made about you.
  • Providing data to us is voluntary; you can play without giving us any.

10. Your rights in California and other US states

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not collect personal information through the game; the only personal information we may handle is website logs and emails you send us. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know, access, correct or delete your personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Contact hello@gelominos.com. State privacy laws apply only to businesses that meet their thresholds; we honor these requests voluntarily where we can.

11. Security

There is no online account and no server of ours. Purchases and Play Games leaderboard scores are sent over encrypted connections handled by Google. Everything else stays on your device. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we keep what we hold to a minimum for that reason.

12. This website

This website (gelominos.com) sets no cookies and uses no advertising or analytics scripts. It is hosted by Netlify, Inc., which, like most hosts, records standard request logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) for operating and securing the service, under Netlify’s privacy policy. This applies to the website only, not to the game. We do not use these logs to identify players or build profiles.

13. Changes to this policy

If the game or website changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and the effective date, ideally before the change reaches players, and mention it in the release notes for significant changes. This version took effect on October 2, 2026. It replaces the version of October 1, 2026. The game was renamed Gelominos on October 2, 2026.
